Full of fascinating information, including lists of owners of properties, number of Negroes "owned" by each family, Biographical sketches of early NY residents, appearance of the city in 1748, and in 1756; early grants and deeds; Contested election of 1701; keys and explanation of certain maps, and a full index. A ton of information on early New York City.
