There Is A Special Index Section With The Names Of Over 4000 Early Chicago Resident Pioneers. The Page Numbers Where Their Role In Early Chicago Is Indicated Is In The Index, Allowing Easy Access. There Are Over 100 Illustration Views Including Photographs And Over 25 Maps Of Early Illinois And Chicago. The First Section Of 112 Pages Is About The Explorers Of The Frontier, Fort Dearborn And The Fort Dearborn Massacre. A Second Section Starts With A Two Page Map Of Chicago In 1830. Thompson's Plat Map Is Included. This Is An Amazing Compilation Of Early Chicago's History. EB; 8vo 8" - 9" tall; 648 pages .
