Bound in blue cloth and black leather are very worn, edges worn and dented, leather is dry and crumbly, spine text remains bright, leather is dry and worn. Top right corner of interior is bent and damp stained for first 280 pages, of 830. A book of bios good for genealogy research. Some engravings, mostly photo reproductions of the featured gentlemen, the most famous resident featured is P.T. Barnum, who got a photo reproduction. Uncommon.
