Chicago: Laidlaw Brothers , 1917. reprint. VERY GOOD. HATFIELD BOOKS AND MEMORABILIA, a FIVE STAR SELLER, presents A HISTORY OF ART by CHARLES GOODYEAR. This is the first and only reprint published by Laidlaw. At the same time, A S Barnes, the book's long time publisher, came out with this same "newly revised and enlarged" 23rd edition, "with new illustrations." This was the last year the book was published. 6 1/8" x 9 3/8", 394 page hard cover with numerous black and white photos and illustrations, with no dust jacket. Overall book is VERY GOOD. Pages = Very Good: Staining to first and last fep's, penciled owner's name and notes on reverse first cover and first fep, occasional notes in light pencil inside, else tight, , sharp, little tanning, very clear. Cover (black cloth boards with white designs and particulars) = Very Good: rubbing to all, yet tight, standout front particulars, square.
