London: Longman & co, 1848. Second edition (hardback). 12mo (19cm by 12cm), xii, 168pp. Publisher's binding of dark green cloth, gilt titling to the front board. The backstrip is defective (lacking 5cm of cloth from the top of the spine), there is an ownership inscription to the title page, and scattered foxing of the contents. Only a fair copy overall, but suitable as a reading, working, reference or binding copy.
