Almost Square Format. 1st edition. 244 pages including detailed index and a few illustrations (pedigree, map, etc.). This is volume 97 (XCVII) in the Chetham Society First Series. This is a quite scarce history. Contains a mass of information from original sources. a clean and tight copy The book has been professionally rebound to a high standard by Riley Dunn & Wilson Ltd in rich green buckram gilt binding which shows no wear at all. This is an Ex-Reference Library book and bears the usual library label on front end paper and occasional neat library rubber stamp. The accession number is in gilt at the bottom of the spine. Very Good++. A substantial volume. WILL REQUIRE EXTRA POSTAGE OUTSIDE UK.
