Goldsboro, NC: Nash Brothers, Book and Job Printers, 1901. Hardcover. Fair. 8vo - over 7¾ - 9¾" tall. Octavo. 859 pages. Hardcover in gray cloth with cover designs in blue, red and white. The binding shows moderate wear. Prior owner's signature on the front flyleaf. The front inner hinge is just starting, and the rear inner hinge appears sound. The gutter is cracking between pages 304 and 305, and there is a corresponding crease line in the cloth on the spine. The text shows sporadic foxing. Volume Five is the volume with the Index for the entire set.
