Australia and New Zealand: Lansdown, 1979 This is volume 7 only. The page edges are somewhat tanned. Several copies are available. This is a fascimile of the 1979 edition of the book. It was originally published by the Government Printer in 1901. It has brown cloth binding with solid boards. Height of the book is just over 8.5 inches. It contains very detailed documents, e.g. From the Governor in Hobart to Governor Bligh: "I was informed by your predecessor soon after my fixing here that he was instructed by Lord Hobart to supply the young settlement with a stock of breeding cows; but the total number that was introduced, even to the present time, did not amount to 150; whereas, shortly after Port Dalrymple was settled, between seven and eight hundred head of cattle were landed there from India." This is on page 89 of this book of 690 pages. There are a small number of fold-out drawings etc, all in very good condition. Books listed here are not stored at the shop.
