Dark brown quarter bound cloth with green paper-covered boards. Paginated separately: 94 and 200. Pages of first book are moderate tanned with mild foxing to endpapers and text block edges. Former owner's name and pencil inscription to front free endpaper and paste-down, with a few small nicks and rub marks along text block edge. Occasional thumb-marking present throughout. Minor dog-eared corners. Small tear to page 94. Pages of second book are heavily tanned and foxed, with notable tearing to pages 177-180. Loss to page 31. Visible thumb-marking and water staining throughout. Curling to lower edges, with a few nicks to text block edges. Boards have heavy shelf-wear with noticeable bumping to corners, crushing to spine ends and considerate rub wear to surfaces. Heavy tanning to spine. Slight forward lean.
