About This Item
The State of Ohio, 1896. Hardcover. Octavo, Two Volumes. In Good condition. Spines are red with gilt lettering. Half bound in red leather with black cloth boards. Boards show rubbing to front and back boards, rubbing and minor bumping to fore edge corners. Boards show minor rubbing to fore edges, with minor tearing to fore edge of back board and tail edge of front board on Vol I. Boards show minor rubbing to hinges, moderate rubbing and creasing to spines. Boards show moderate rubbing, bumping, and tearing to headcaps and tails, with slight exposure to binding. Front hinge of Vol II shows moderate plus tearing, board is slightly loose. Bindings are slightly loose. Ownership inscriptions on inside of front board on paste down paper. Textblocks show age toning, mild foxing spots and smudging to fore and tail edges.
