About This Item
London: Hollis and Carter, 1952. 1st Edition . Dark Blue Cloth. VG/Very Good. 14 Cms x 22 Cms. xvii+427, 12 text figs; faint browning to inner halves of outward sides of endpapers, o/w clean, tight & unmarked in clean barely worn covers but gilt sp.lettering dull; bright clean minimally worn unclipped jacket marred by oddwhite streak across back and faint patch of similar, though less intense, whitening down outer side of front, cause of this unclear but appears to be a printing fault, trivial light brown spot to front also (will add protective sleeve when ordered.). A very useful historical review from antiquity onwards. Note: quoted shipping rates are calculated for 500-700 gram net weight, cost will be modified up or down as appropriate outside this range.
