About This Item
Columbia, CA Self Published, 1966. Paperback First Edition (1966), probably a later printing. INSCRIBED AND SIGNED BY THE AUTHOR. Near Fine in Wraps: shows only the most minute indications of use: just a hint of wear to extremities; the faintest crease near the outside edge of the rear panel; a tiny coffee-like stain to first page of the introduction; the binding is square and secure; the text is clean. Free of any creased or dog-eared pages in the text. Free of any underlining, hi-lighting or marginalia or marks in the text. Free of ownership names, dates, addresses, notations, inscriptions, stamps, or labels. A nearly-new copy, structurally sound and tightly bound, showing a couple of minor, unobtrusive flaws. Bright and clean. Corners sharp. Very close to 'As New'. NOT a Remainder, Book-Club, or Ex-Library. 8vo. (8.35 x 5.5 x 0.15 inches). 28 pages. Profusely illustrated with vintage duotone photographs. Language: English. Weight: 2 ounces. First Edition (1966), probably a later printing. Paperback: Staple-bound Wraps. This is a short book showing the buildings of Columbia, California. The town rose up almost overnight during the California Gold Rush. Each page of the book shows a picture of a surviving building with a description underneath. INSCRIBED AND SIGNED BY THE AUTHOR.
