Description:
The history and culture of los Gitanos, a sort of early ethnography with an emphasis on language. First part is primarily a collection of oral traditions (191pp.); second part, Diccionario Espanol-Gitano-Germanesco (135pp.). This 1915 illustrated edition is hard to find, even in libraries. This copy has the stamp of P.J. Guirola & Co., Guatemala on the title page. The original spine, stamped covers. Binding is in good condition except that the covers have separated at front and back. Interior pages unmarked. Paper is yellowed. In stock. Usually ships in three days.
