Paris: Perrin et Cie., 1892. Second edition. Hardcover. Very Good. Vol. 1- xvi + 596 pages. Frontis illustration with tissue. Vol. 2- 596 pages. 5 x 7 1/4 in. "Bound by Blackwell" stamped on back corner of ffep. Blue half morocco binding with marbled boards, gilt lettering on spine, 5 raised bands, top edge of text block gilt, end papers marbled. Condition of each volume is VERY GOOD: light wear to covers and spines, corners bent, spine of Vol. 1 cracking near top- small piece missing from spine of Vol. 2 near bottom. Boards lightly worn, edges of text block yellowed and lightly foxed, light foxing to first and last few pages, pages clean, bindings fine, small book plate of David B. Ogden on inside of front cover.
