Weetstein, 1750. 12 vols. bound as 11, 12mo, pp. [ii], viii, [iv], 443, [19] + frontispiece; [iv], 556, [16]; [iv], 395, [19]; [iv], 430, [14]; [iv], 463, [13]; [iv], 416, [12]; [iv], 439, [13]; 418, [14]; [iv], 382, [22]; 365, [15]; [viii], 350, [ii], 248, [4] + 7 folding maps. Contemporary sprinkled calf, spines divided by raised bands, red and blue morocco labels, other compartments bordered with triple gilt rules enclosing central flower tools. Some browning and spotting. Joints rubbed, a few spine ends worn, several labels lost or partially defective. First published in Paris in quarto in 1730, this is an Amsterdam reprint, produced around the same time as the second Paris edition, also in this smaller format.

About McNaughtan's Bookshop
Established in 1957, McNaughtan's Bookshop is the oldest surviving secondhand and antiquarian bookshop in Scotland. Located in the basement of a listed 1820s tenement building at the top of Edinburgh's Leith Walk, we are the only open shop in Edinburgh holding membership of the Antiquarian Booksellers Association. We stock rare, antiquarian, and collectable books on all subjects, along with a substantial range of secondhand books for browsing.
