New York: The Macmillan Company, 1909. vol 3 is 1913. Maroon cloth with gilt stamped illustrations to front and gilt top edges. Vol 2 is faded and vol 3 is a lighter red with faded spine. All have rather badly cracked front and rear gutters and vol 3 has split hinges. All spine edges are chipped. Vol 3 has a few spots to closed edges. Vols 1 and 2 have bookplate to front pastedowns and vol 1 has inscription note and letters glued in to front endpapers, vol 2 has creased front endpapers. However, contents in all are in good order, main text, plates and maps are clean and firm.. Cloth. Good Minus/No Jacket. 8vo.
