Book has been read; previous owner's name to front endpaper, mostly under the flap, finger mark to front page edge; jacket shows edge wear with a short closed tear to the top of the front panel. Personally inscribed by the author. Fact based fiction about two Norwegian immigrants who form ski clubs in the US. When WWII comes the ski club members are the nucleus of the 10th Mountain Division, a legendary unit which fought in the mountains of Italy. 8vo - over 7¾" - 9¾" tall. Hard Cover.
