Slight cracking to hinges. Binding is shaky. Boards have mild edge wear with slight rubbing to surfaces. Crushing to spine ends with small splits and fraying to cloth. Book is slightly forward leaning. Scuffing and light marking overall. Moderate tanning to spine and edges.

Boards have mild shelf wear with light rubbing and corner bumping. Some light marking and sunning. Gilt lettering is bright and clear.

Green cloth covered boards with gilt lettering to front and spine and blind stamped decoration to front cover; all in very good condition. Pages age tanned but clean and binding tight. Beautifully drawn illustrations in black and white. Pasted down paper slip with hand written dedication to previous owner on first page. Fold out map of Kent to rear of book in excellent condition.
