Publishers' brown quarter cloth with bronze titles to spine and ornage paper-covered boards, in unclipped pictorial dust-jacket designed by Carlos Ochagavia. Spine tips a little rubbed otherwise a clean bright copy; no annotation or inscriptions. Jacket a little scuffed with a few minor creases. Near Fine in a Very Good jacket. Ballard's acclaimed and gripping novel of life in a forty-story luxury apartment building and the outbreak of hostilities between rival groups of residents as civilisation breaks down, compared on the jacket to "Lord of the Flies". Adapted for the film of the same name in 2015.
