This is a first edition, first printing (first impression) with a full number line to the copyright page as called for. It is in near fine condition with a slight stain to the foot of the text block. Also present is the extremely scarce trial jacket with a Provisional price and Date to the inside flap, it is chipped with some closed tears to the front edge and rear now enclosed in a mylar protector.Very Uncommon in trial jacket in this format..
Synopsis
Hideous Kinky is an autobiographical novel by Esther Freud, daughter of British painter Lucian Freud, and great-granddaughter of Sigmund Freud. In 1998 a film adaptation was produced. It depicts her hippy childhood in Morocco with her elder sister Bella.
