Lightly bumped spine ends and top corners. Signed by author on title page. Also, on the half-title are the signatures are of 6 of the aircrew who served at Little Staughton in 109 and 582 Squadrons including Bill Heane DFC, Ted Stocker DSO DFC, Ron Jeffries, Ray Wilcock and Joan Greenwood (a WAAF). It also includes the signature of Bob Pearce RCAF, an air gunner who was shot down on the raid. Internally neat, clean, bright and tight. Dust jacket has some shelf wear, price unclipped. 8vo. Tells of the raid, one of the most important of that time, that has scarcely been mentioned in history books - an ordeal in which ordinary men fought and died doing extraordinary things. This story is for them.
