New York: Self published, 1899. Hardcover. Fair/No Jacket. Inscribed on the first free end paper: "My Mother's father wrote the book, and also "Tales of the Southwest". W. Price Fitch, M.D., son of Olivette Eleanor Price & Charles Wilmer Fitch, M.D.". He added: "Ballads of the Western Wilds - (Enjoyable) WF, MD". Dr. Fitch also wrote similarly on the title page & on the last free end paper. His address labels (with two different addresses) are on the insides of the front and back covers of the book. A copy of the Price coat-of-Arms (Silver lion rampant on a red shield) is included with this book. Gold lettering & silver front cover border decoration on green covers. 12mo, 223 pages. Cover edges & corners worn, pages bottom & foredge stained (Not affecting text).
