About This Item

London: Hodder and Stoughton, no date [1926]. Hardback. 12mo (19cm by 12cm), 318pp. Original blue cloth. Some chafing to the head of the spine, light spotting of the spine, preliminary pages foxed; overall, this book is in good condition. Author's presentation copy, signed and inscribed "Kate from her armirer the author L P J, May 28, 1926" on the front free endpaper. Undated; COPAC gives a date of 1926 and suggests that all copies are undated; as this copy is signed by the author and dated 1926 it is likely to be a first edition.
