Kiddell-Monroe, Joan. ixpp; 210pp. A lovely copy of this book by Charles Kingsely, being a 1970 reprint of the 1965 illustrated edtiion and No 58 in the Children's Illustrated Classics series. Bound in original decorative cloth boards and illustrated with 4 full page colour plates as called for and numerous line drawings throughout the text. Light bumps to the head and tail of the spine. One corner is slightly bumped. Former owners name to the head of the half title page in red biro. Fresh and clean. Dust wrapper not price clipped. There is some rubbing and creasing to the ehad adn tail fo the spine of the wrapper and a little shelf wear to the wrapper edges, most noticeable to the top front corner of the wrapper. Slight tear to the tail of the wrapper, expertly repaired. No loss. A very good copy.
