Sir Osbert Lancaster, cartoonist, painter, theatre designer, and architectural historian, adds a great deal to this book via his illustrations. Includes the ORIGINAL DUST JACKET. Overall condition of the book is FINE. Pages = Near Fine, dirt on all outside edges, else Like New. Cover (reddish-brown quarter bound cloth over light blue boards, with publisher emblem in black and particulars in silver gilt) = like new. ORIGINAL UNCLIPPED DUST JACKET (light blue paper with 4 color illustration of a British town with particulars in black) = Very Good: scotch tape halting 3 tears, 1/2" tear at bottom of front fold, light sunning and fading, else clear, colorful, whole, square.
