About This Item
NY: Knopf, (1965.) Unstated but presumed 1st edition. SIGNED by Wilson. The fifth book in the Herbert Yadon series. A humorous tale of interplanetary canine hijinks, in which resourceful Herbert foils a plot and saves the day after landing on the "dog-gonedest planet this side of Mars." Signed by the author in ink on the orange, front free endpaper. With a brief inscription: "For the / Haases / Best wishes, / Herbert's mother, Hazel Wilson." 160 pages. Hardcover, 5.5 by 8.5 inches. Pictorial library binding, but not an ex-library book. Good condition, but some kind of critter has chewed at the upper corners and front fore-edge. No owner signatures, markings or other problems. Sound, tight binding. Scarce with Hazel Wilson's signature, but priced accordingly to reflect condition.
