Signed. First Edition. Near Fine / very good. Hemingway was noted as a realist. The author believed that Hemingway was more conserned with emotions that objective realism. He uses prominent artists work to demonstrate. There are 18 b&w plates. Book is lightly, but evenly toned and the head and tail of the spine are wrinkled, otherwise fine. The dust jacket has shelf wear and rubs, but no tears or chips. The author has dated, inscribed and signed on the front free end page.

About mark mcdonald
Book collector for over 30 years. I'm retired and ready to sell. I buy almost exclusively from estate sales and since I've lived in Dallas my whole life, I know the people and where to go. I am a low volume collector and seller and deal in higher quality books. I have a lot of signed and inscribed books. These signatures have not been officially authenticated, but I am confident in their authenticity so I will guarantee them in perpetuity if it can be reasonably demonstrated that the signature is incorrect. .
