Dark blue cloth over black paper boards with silver and blue lettering on the spine. Not price clipped. Top edge of book block in purple. Signed and inscribed by Richard Matheson on the title page. This is a first edition, first printing of Matheson's horror novel "Hell House". The haunted house story was adapted into the British film "The Legend of Hell House" (1973), starring Pamela Franklin and Roddy McDowall, for which Matheson himself wrote the screenplay.
Dust jacket with the most minor or smudges and a small stain along the bottom edge of the back cover. Minor smudges along the right edge of the book block. A beautiful clean and bright copy. Dj, binding and interior in overall very good+ to near fine condition.
