Presumed first edition. 178 pp., title page printed in turquoise and black. Illustrations by John J. Floherty, Jr. Fine, bright example, light offsetting to the front free endpaper. In bright, crisp illustrated dust jacket, price clipped and with a short closed tear top edge front panel. A thief that leaves no tracks, a tattooed stranger, stolen farmer's livestock, vaulable missing mink. Best friends Bob and Lou investigate because their buddy may be sent to reform scholl if they can't find the true solution. Young adult mystery set in the New Jersey farm country.
