London: Chapman & Hall,, 1950. First edition, first impression. Waugh considered this to be his best post-war work. Octavo. Original blue cloth, titles to spine in gilt. With dust jacket and yellow wraparound band. Spine slightly rolled, a little minor spotting to contents. An excellent copy in the jacket with faintly sunned spine and minor loss to head of spine.
