Large octavo (25.5cm.); publisher's red pictorial cloth elaborately tooled in black and gilt, all edges gilt, moiré endpapers, cream printed dust jacket, card slipcase with printed label affixed to upper panel; [6],232pp.; portrait frontispiece, illus. throughout, many full-paged, text printed within red rule throughout. Jacket a bit dust-soiled, spine a shade toned with tiny dampstain and short split at bottom inch of upper spine edge, contemporary gift inscription to front flyleaf dated 1894, else Fine in a Very Good and fresh copy of the very scarce dustwrapper.
