Philadelphia: Carey & Lea. Fair with no dust jacket. 1832. First Edition. Hardcover. Front hinges have splitting at each end, front cover is loosely attached. Spine is missing much surface paper. Spine label is chipped. Covers have some wear and bumping to the outer corners and some light staining. First 36 pages have a small light damp stain to the upper outer corners. Pages are slightly foxed, a little darker on a few. Owner's gift inscription on the title page. ; Volume One only, out of Two. BAL 3858. .
