Pages clean except for a prior owner's name on the first (summary) page and some brown droplet spotting on the top edge of the page block, causing a small ripple through top edges of a portion of the book; binding square and secure, hard cover only modestly softened at spine ends; dust jacket has a closed tear at the top right rear, a patch of scratching at the middle rear, and some chipping around heel edges, but is otherwise sound, now protected in a clear sleeve. xx, 780pp.
