Small 8vo, decorative blue cloth with maroon lettering on spine and front cover, Mylar-protected pictorial dust jacket (bevelled corners but not price-clipped) depicting two illustrations with texts on front cover, blue-gray endpapers, 314 pages. SCARCE with the dust jacket and cloth in this VG condition. Solid, clean copy with characteristic uniform age-toning. Bright and clean dust jacket with chipping at head and foot of spine. Sir P[elham] G[renville] Wodehouse KBE (1881 - 1975) was a beloved English author who was one of the most widely read humorists of the 20th century. They include jolly gentleman of leisure, Bertie Wooster and his sagacious valet Jeeves; the immaculate and loquacious Psmith; Lord Emsworth and the Blandings Castle set; the Oldest Member, with stories about golf; and Mr Mulliner.
