First edition, second printing of The Heart of a Goof by P. G. Wodehouse in the original publisher's green cloth binding. 'Second printing completing 21,360 copies' to the verso of the dedication page. Dated from Jisc. Collection of nine short stories about golf. It is largely considered as a sequel to The Clicking of Cuthbert (1922). Pelham Grenville Wodehouse was an English author and humourist of the twentieth century.Four pages of advertisements to the rear. No dust wrapper present. In the original publisher's cloth binding. Externally, very smart. There is some minor bumping to the head and tail of the spine and to the extremities. The hinges are starting but firm. Internally, firmly bound. The pages are bright and clean with occasional spotting. Very Good

Based in the literary city of Bath, our offices are housed in the Eastern Dispensary. Built in 1845, the building originally existed as a charitable institution providing medical care. The building now houses our collection of over twenty thousand books and has five full time members of staff.
