Chicago: Lyon & Healy. Good with no dust jacket. 1904. Limited Edition. #1051 of 2000 copies. Red cloth backed gray boards. Spine cloth foxed. Paper title label to spine is heavily toned and scuffed. Light edgewear, moderate scuffing and rubbing, and bumped spine ends and corners. Light water staining along lower edges of front board and text block. Binding sound, text clean. Interior lightly toned. Slight rubbing to front pastedown. Tipped-in color plates of the violins from various perspectives, with tissue guards. One tissue guard has lightly chipped edge that stands proud of text block. No ownership marks, stickers or stamps. Not ex-library. An important book on violin making and the history of violins. ; 4to 11" - 13" tall; 105 pages .
