No reference to printing, very good + hardcover shows a light bit of shelf wear to covers, bit of soil at page edges, name at top of front pastedown and some other light trace wear, in good + dust jacket (price at flap) that shows, rubbing, scotch tape mends at reverse and at spine head, and with edgewear that includes closed tears and open chips. 477 pages with illustrated plates in black & white that includes frontispiece. Solid copy in jacket of this second volume in the trilogy about Iowa settlers in the mid 19th century.
