SIGNED with LENTHY INSCRIPTION to the Hilton U. Brown family as a PRRESENTATION for Butler University. This copy is VG. Exterior is rich . Gilt is bright. A few light smudges to boards. Extremities with minimal rubbing. Inside has Butler University tipped in , presentation acknowledgment to front paste down. Verso FEP with the handwritten background of Hilton U. Brown, Jr., who died in France in WWI by his aunt.FEP with lengthy inscription by the author. Otherwise, unmarked , crisp, and tight. Very modest toning. Hilton U. Brown was the GM and VP of the Indianapolis News, President Emeritus of the Board of Directors of Butler University( whose Hilton U. Brown Theater bears his name), and major benefactor to Butler. Wonderful ASSOCIATION copy..
