Virtue, Hall & Virtue; undated c. 1855 First edition? Hardcover, 3/4 Leather bound. Illustrations by 'Phiz'. Marbled front and back boards. Brown leather to corners and spine. Corners rubbed and bumped. Marbled board edges rubbed in places. Decorative spine and lettering in gilt- this has faded over time. Spine top and bottom a little rubbed. Blue marbled end papers which are tanned to edges. End papers broken at hinge showing boards- front and back. Age spotting and tanning throughout. Pages slightly grubby in places. Page edges sprayed red- faded in parts. No inscriptions or previous owners names.
