London: Printed for J. Walker, 1795. 2 vols. bound as 1, 8vo, pp. 146; 124 + 7 plates. Contemporary marbled calf, spine divided by gilt rolls, red morocco label. A touch of rubbing to extremities. Contemporary ownership inscription of Edw. Emerson to flyleaf. An attractive copy of these scarce parts of a reissue by Walker of Harrison’s Classicks, a series reprinting periodicals in cheaper double-column format. The volumes, sold initially in parts, were all available separately; this one contains the Idler (Birmingham, BL, & 5 in USA/Australia in ESTC) and William Melmoth’s ‘Letters of Sir Thomas Fitzosborne’ (BL, Columbia, Catholic Institute of Sydney).

Established in 1957, McNaughtan's Bookshop is the oldest surviving secondhand and antiquarian bookshop in Scotland.
