Dark blue publisher's slipcase, backstrip repaired with tape. § First edition, limited issue. Contains 9 short stories (including the earlier version of the title story, called "Mysteries of the Joy Rio"). Dedicated to Jane and Paul Bowles. One of an unspecified number of copies of the "Limited Edition" (as stated on the publisher's slipcase).
