Faint dampstain at lower corners of both boards, slightly lightening the black cloth. Dampstain also on inside of the jacket at the same locations, and the jacket is a little rubbed and edgeworn. The book is tight and square with no internal evidence of moisture. Includes map endpapers, Note on Hannibal, Acknowledgment, and an Index; 310 pages. $4.50 price on jacket flap; no names or other marking in or on the book. Noted author of historical "Biographical Narratives.
