Random House, 1949. Hardcover. Good/Acceptable. 1949. First Printing. 244 pages. This is an ex-Library book. Grey cloth covered boards. Ex-Library copy, with expected inserts and inscriptions. Accompanying dust jacket is not the original but a jacket added by the Corner Book Shop Library. No other library marks present. Pages remain clear with minimal tanning and foxing, mild to end-papers and text-block edges. Book shop stamp and sticker to front free end paper. Tape to paste downs.Some occasional mild cracking to gutters throughout however binding remains reasonably firm. Boards have moderate edge-wear with bumping to corners and rubbing to surfaces. Mild crushing to spine ends. Book has a slight forward lean. Cloth is tanned. Library dust jacket is unclipped and has moderate edge-wear with chips, tears and creasing. Moderate tanning to spine.
