Houghton Mifflin, 1874. Hardcover. Very Good/No Jacket. With many steel engravings throughout the text. Gilt edges, decorations, embossing, and lettering on the cover. With a previous owner's written on the first blank page after the front endpaper dated 'Xmas 83.' Includes a carte de visite of a drawing of Longfellow's daughters. The image is slightly aged and there is a little staining of some kind but it is in overall good condition.
