The 1957 telephone directory for all offices and more than 1500 employees of the Hanford Works, one of the earliest nuclear research facilities in the United States. Front cover states "For official use only". Quotation from the Atomic Energy Commission Manual on back cover: "Classified defense information shall not be discussed in telephone conversations". The directory is clean and tight, with minor rubbing on covers; pages are very lightly (uniformly) tanned. Very scarce.. First Printing. Paperback. Collectible-Very Good. 8vo - over 7¾" - 9¾" tall. Book.
