Chicago: The Reilly & Lee Co. Early Printing. Hardcover. Very Good/Good +. John R. Neill. 8vo - over 7¾" - 9¾" tall. Orange cloth with full colour plate to the front board; black lettering and head of Handy Mandy to the spine. Black and white illustrations throughout. Dustjacket is clipped, with wear to the outer extremities; paper loss to the lower outside corner and heel of spine panel; head of spine panel has paper loss to a depth of 3.5 inches. Though the copyright page states 1937 as the published date, the list of Oz Books available to the rear flap, which ends at No. 34. Scalawagons of Oz., would indicate that this is a 1941 edition.
