Being a revelation of startling facts concerning the terrible influences that are at work destroying the nation, with the sober conclusions drawn from these facts by an ex-congressman; a man who loves his country and his fellow-man, and would give warning of perils that threaten the very life of our Republic. The book was written and was to happen during the Presidency of Teddy Roosevelt when capitalism was apparently out of control and needed to be restrained. In steps Teddy to do some trust-busting, break up a few conglomerates, and enact a bunch of laws that don't make a revolution the best option anymore. A good look at labor and communism during the early part of the 20th Century. A clean very presentable copy.
