Honolulu: Bishop Museum, 1903. First Edition. Original wrappers. Oblong 8vo. 105, (1) pp. Stiff red covers with black illustration & lettering. Illustrated with black & white protographic reproductions and drawings. Text block mostly pulled away from the wrappers; lower front corner tip missing; else a very good copy. The uncommon first printing of a guide to the Bernice Pauahi Bishop Museum which was founded in 1889. The museum it is the largest in Hawai'i and has the world's largest collection of Polynesian cultural artifacts and natural history specimens.
