John Murray, 1903. Hardcover. Acceptable. 1903. Third Impression. Unpaginated. No dust jacket. White embossed cloth. Rough-cut pages. Black and white illustrated plates. Part II. Minor thumb marking, foxing and tanning to pages. More prominent to text block edges, pastedowns and free endpapers. Pencil inscription to front free endpaper. Moderate cracking and light staining to gutters but pages remain attached. Boards have minor corner bumping and edgewear with noticeable tanning and scuffing overall. Spine has heavier tanning with soft crushing to ends. Book has a slight forward lean.
