Second edition. *The fourth volume of Bridgewater Treatises commissioned by the 8th Earl of Bridgewater, to explore 'the Power, Wisdom, and Goodness of God, as manifested in Creation'. Sir Charles Bell (1774-1842) was a Scottish surgeon, anatomist, physiologist, neurologist, artist, and philosophical theologian. He was the first professor of Anatomy and Surgery at the College of Surgeons in London and helped establish the Medical School at the University of London. Later he was Professor of Surgery at the University of Edinburgh.

All books are in very good, or better, condition with defects, if any, fully described. Traditional trade terms apply. Items are offered subject to prior sale.
